Camp Ripley-based Minnesota Guardsmen set to deploy to Eastern Europe

May 25, 2021 (LITTLE FALLS, Minnesota) — Less than 10 members of the Minnesota-based detachment of the 107th Maintenance Company will deploy to Eastern Europe to provide maintenance support to U.S. service members and allied forces operating in the U.S. European Command area of operations.

The soldiers will be honored Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., during a deployment ceremony at Camp Ripley. The ceremony will be streamed live at https://www.facebook.com/434thSupportMaintenanceCompany

The Minnesota detachment is part of the Sparta, Wisconsin, based 107th Maintenance Company and will join approximately 150 Wisconsin Army National Guard soldiers on the deployment. The unit, comprised of mechanics, production controllers, signal support specialists, supply specialists, vehicle recovery experts, armament specialists, and a field feeding section, will provide maintenance support to U.S. service members and allied forces operating in the theater.
