The 434th Chemical Company is an Army National Guard company headquartered in Hastings that supports the U.S. Army and the State of Minnesota. The 434th Chemical Company is capable of providing mass troop and equipment decontamination in the event of a chemical, biological radiological, or nuclear explosive attack; additionally, the 434th Chemical Company is prepared to support the State of Minnesota with troops capable of assisting in a natural or man-made disaster. In addition to the headquarters in Hastings, the 434th Chemical Company has a detachment in Red Wing.
